Lisa rescued Bunny in May 1996.   It was an instant connection between the two of them.   Their love was tested several months later when Bunny was kicked by a pasture-mate, fracturing her hind left leg.   After 6 months in a stall and an operation to remove the majority of the outside splint bone on that leg, Bunny was finally sound again.   Lisa had never given up hope on this beautiful mare who had worked her way into her heart.

Bunny rewarded Lisa's kindness and devotion, presenting a gorgeous colt in the spring of 1999, sired by Farnley Belshazzar (Sec. B Welsh Pony).   Affectionately called "Petey" he is now owned by John Ventura of NC, showing as Tell-A-Tale Grey.

Bunny was bred to Rho-Quest (Arabian) in 2002.  And in Febuary 2003 produced Lisa's dream foal!   Belle was exactly what Lisa had been praying for, but was even more beautiful than Lisa could ever have imagined.   Possessing the markings seen often in her sire's family (blood bay with a blaze and four white socks) and the movement of her beloved mother, Bunny.  Read more about Belle on her page.

Bunny passes on her sweet disposition and intellegence to her foals, along with her floating trot and unbelievably smooth canter.   Lisa has ridden many horses over the years, but swears that Bunny has the smoothest canter she has ever felt.   Bunny also passes on her natural jumping ability to her foals, who jump for the sheer pleasure of jumping at an early age, in the pasture, jumping anything they can find to jump.

Bunny is currently in foal to Land's End The Colonel Fox.  She is due in early June 2004.  Foal will be for sale.  We plan to bred to Bunny back to Farnely Belshazzar in 2004.  Foal will be for sale.
